We’ve all been encouraged, the best place for us to be is at home. We’re finding ourselves spending more time around our partners than ever before. As we’ve found, the downtime has really helped us finish that list of “someday” projects – after a year in our home, we’ve finally got the storage room, and garage unpacked and stacked. Just because most entertainment is closed, doesn’t mean you have to miss out on romantic date nights. It just means you have to be a little more creative about what a date night includes. To help keep things fun, we’ve put together a list of some creative ideas for stay inside date nights.
Stay Inside Date Idea #1: Go Camping in your living room
Time to put those epic blanket-fort building skills from when you were 8 years old to use. Spend an evening building something cozy together. Once your new domain is finished, pour some wine, grab some snacks, and cuddle with each other.
Stay Inside Date Idea #2: Send Greeting Cards to loved ones with a Polaroid inside.
If you’re like us, there’s some family that it’s important to keep our distance from. As much as you’re missing them, they are probably missing you even more during this time, and would love to receive something from you in the mail. Mail has been deemed an essential service so there’s no fear of them having to close any time soon. Don’t have cards or a Polaroid Camera? Writing a handwritten note is always an option if you are without cards Otherwise, Hallmark is giving out 1miliion greeting cards to help us all stay connected, and Amazon is a great place to grab a Polaroid camera if you don’t already have one.
Stay Inside Date Idea #3: Completely Disconnect, Together
Shut off phones, laptops, tablets, anything that has a connection to the outside would and just BE together. See what happens when you have a night without any distractions.

It’s never too early to start dreaming and planning where you’re going to explore next. Sit down and each of you secretly write out your top 3 dream locations to travel to in 2021. Put them in a jar, and the paper you draw is your next adventure.
